Family Refugee Services - Group Mentor
Family Refugee Services needs mentor teams of 4-6 individuals to meet with a refugee family for a few hours each month totaling at least 4 hours per month over a 6-month period. After training, the mentor team will offer emotional and relational support, assist the refugee family with practical needs, and help the family positvely transition into and acclimate to their new community. The mentor team has the opportunity to learn about other cultures and make new friends. This program is in partnership with the resettlement agency, Lutheran Family Services.

Family Rescue Ministry - Group Mentoring
Family Rescue Ministry (FRM) needs teams of 2-4 people to mentor families & seniors, whom we help get into permanent housing. Mentor teams offer friendship, encouragement & support to the family/senior. The time commitment is 7 mentor meetings in 6 months (about once a month). In these meetings, topics such as basic budgeting, goal setting and parenting are discussed. This is a wonderful opportunity for a family or small group to care for those in need through relationship development.

Harvest Farm - New Life Program Mentor
Long-term volunteer mentors are needed for our New Life Program participants. We will match you with a program participant with whom you will meet at least twice a month for a minimum of six months. You may meet with your mentee more frequently if you each so desire. Be available to listen and support your mentee as he works to overcome addiction and gain a new life.

If you love to hike, fish, rock climb, or do other outdoor things, we'd love to have you join us in introducting our participants to these healthy hobbies! Guide once monthly outings with our participants doing the things you love best! Share you love for the outdoors with the men at Harvet Farm.
The Crossing - New Life Program Mentor
Adult men are needed to invest in the lives of the New Life Program participants through consistent one-on-one meetings (in person every other week) over a 6 to 9 month time period. Mentors are engaged, consistent, committed, accountable, and have a heart for encouragement. Mentors are provided training before beginning and ongoing support from our Mentor Coordinator. The New Life Program provides a community-oriented environment for participants togain the skills, stability and self-esteem necessary to become productive, self-sufficientmembers of society.

The Crossing - STAR Adult Mentor
We're looking for adults, both male and female, who are interested in investing in the lives of our STAR program participants through consistent one-on-one meetings for a minimum of six months (meeting every other week in person and an email or phone call to touch base on the opposite week). Mentors are engaged, consistent, committed, accountable, and have a heart for encouragement. Mentors will receive training before beginning and ongoing support from our Mentor Coordinator.The STAR Transitional Program provides affordable transitional shelter for individuals and families living at The Crossing, our transitional living facility. Participants receive assistance and tools to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency while living in and contributing to a healthy community
The Crossing - Youth Mentor
Mentors are needed to spend time and build relationships with youth ages 10 to 17. We're looking for adults (minimum age of 21) who want to exercise their Christian faith and make a difference in the lives of youth who live at The Crossing in the STAR Transitional Program. The commitment is meeting once a week for one to three hours for a minimum of one year. All mentors will be screened, matched, and supported by our partner organization, Save Our Youth.
